• Secure Your Property: Check for and repair any damage that could worsen with heavy rainfall. Secure outdoor objects that could be blown away.
• Emergency Supplies: Ensure you have a stock of emergency supplies like water, food, batteries, flashlights, and a first aid kit.
• Flood Precautions: If you are in a flood-prone area, consider sandbags to protect your property. Elevate valuables if possible.
• Safety First: Avoid driving or walking through flooded areas. Just a few inches of moving water can be dangerous.
