Scott Marshall, Chief Claims Officer

Scott is a seasoned Multi-line Claims, Managed Care, Underwriting, and Marketing Executive
with 36 years of experience. He joined K2 Claims Services as Chief Claims Officer (CCO) in June
of 2019 to build a world-class TPA focused on exceptional customer service, mitigating
Loss/ALAE & providing state of the art technology.

Scott grew to be a leader at Liberty Mutual, responsible for the claim operations
on the West Coast. He then went on to lead the claim operations at Berkshire Hathaway
Homestate Companies & American Claims Management (ACM) and held senior leadership roles
in Underwriting/Marketing at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency (AGIA) and OnPoint Underwriting.

Scott has an impressive background in all types of claims, managed care, underwriting, and
marketing leadership in large operations. He currently serves on the Board of the Pacific Claims
Executive Associations (PCEA), the International Association of Claim Professionals (IACP), and
the California Department of Insurance Advisory Board.

Tony Buglio, Vice President of Property Claims & Catastrophe Coordinator

Tony has over 30 years of property experience in residential and commercial claims. He manages a team of in-house examiners and developed and trained a network of Independent Adjusters specializing in commercial and residential claims. He created the captive K2 Catastrophe Team after Hurricane Andrew which consists of a network of over 5,000 independent adjusters throughout the country.

Tony has managed and controlled every type of catastrophe from Katrina to the Camp Fire. He has adjudicated losses to the benefit of the policyholders, with industry-leading results since 1992. Tony has provided field intelligence to the product/marketing divisions when creating product offerings throughout the United States. He has implemented risk management language within the products to manage exposure severity.

Outside of work, Tony is an advocate working with inner-city youth of Harrisburg, PA, and has been a football coach for over 20 years.

Damien Carlson, Vice President of Commercial Claims

Damien has over sixteen years of experience adjusting and managing commercial programs for multiple lines of business including professional liability, commercial auto, general liability, and commercial property. Damien spent over 12 years at American Claims Management (ACM) managing and developing numerous programs in a wide variety of industries including school and public entities, manufactured housing, sports and recreation, alarm and sprinkler systems, salvage/tow yards, ski resorts, high-end retail/hotels, vet malpractice, snowplow removal companies, construction defect claims from both developer and subcontractor perspectives, etc. Furthermore, Damien has managed programs for insurers, self-insureds, risk pools, and reinsurers. Prior to program management, Damien held senior adjusting roles handling professional liability claims (D&O and E&O) and construction defect claims.

Damien is well versed in analyzing and developing successful programs. He works with insurers, underwriters, and insureds in developing strategies to mitigate and control risk. Damien is also experienced with CAT management and was the team lead for multiple CAT events, including Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, and several earthquake events, including Napa, Anchorage, and Ridgecrest. Damien is active in the claims adjusting community and has participated in panel discussions for events with CLM.

Matt Della Mora, Vice President of Claim Systems and Operations

Matt started his career in 2006 with Mercury Insurance Company as a Casualty Adjuster handling automobile losses. While at Mercury, Matt held assignments of increasing responsibility including handling more complex bodily injury claims, a role in the coverage analysis unit, and residential property. In 2015, Matt joined Aegis Security Insurance Company as a Senior Examiner. Within two years, Matt was promoted to be the supervisor overseeing a team of examiners and independent adjusters handling complex California Property Claims.

At K2 Claims, Matt was promoted to Director of Operations and Claim Systems. Matt is currently assisting in onboarding and developing new business and using innovation and his claims experience to drive continuous improvement in claims systems and processes.

Matt has a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton, where he
studied finance and international management. He also has an MBA from Arizona State University, where he studied international business and supply chain management.

Lennie Castellaneta, Assistant Vice President of Property

Lennie Castellaneta

Lennie has over 16 years of claims experience in a wide variety of specialties, including liability, field adjusting, CAT claims and property claims. Lennie spent several years at Nationwide and had the opportunity to help train and coach new property adjusters. He has held several senior roles including Supervisor of Complex Claims, Head Chair of the Subrogation Committee for Nationwide as well as Council Chair for K2’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council. Lennie currently manages 5 property units and actively is involved with day-to-day claims management. He also assists in managing the CAT team alongside Tony Buglio.

Outside of work, Lennie and his wife Allison are proud parents to 3 daughters who are heavily involved in competition dance and Lacrosse. He enjoys playing golf and being around his family members. Lennie received his B.A. in Business Administration from Baldwin Wallace College in 2005.
